Microwave and RF Design - A Systems Approach This book is a comprehensive introduction to RF and microwave design with a systems first approach.
However, this does not mean that components are ignored. The book is arranged in five modules that are independent but do build on each other and are best read in sequence. Design examples are used throughout the book, and many of them incorporate design tradeoffs that are only appreciated in the context of a specific design. The book is also characterized by design emphasis with discussion of manufacturability and practical design decisions. |
Transceiver and System Design for Digital Communications • Provides an understanding of concepts in wireless, data link, and digital communication techniques for both commercial and military sectors. |
||||||||
Wideband Amplifier Design While the emphasis is on wide bandwidth (DC to several GHz) amplifiers with good transient response, the techniques presented are also quite useful to people doing classic analog design. The term "high frequency" is relative. As such, this book is of interest to anyone doing analog design. Both op-amp designers (Integrated Circuit) and op-amp users will find the material useful. Other applications include fast digitizers, analog to digital converters (A/D), and digital to analog converters (D/A), as well as the emerging area of Ultra Wideband (UWB) radio. |

High Frequency Techniques: An Introduction to RF and Microwave Engineering This is a clearly written classical circuit and field theory text illustrated with modern computer simulation software. Using informal language, High Frequency Techniques takes the reader step-by- step through RF and microwave theory and design, providing a lasting practical reference for the practicing wireless engineer. |
RF and Microwave Radiation Safety, 2nd Edn. A practical handbook for all involved in electronic design and safety assessment, RF and Microwave Radiation Safety covers the problems of RF safety management, including the use of measuring instruments and methods, radiation hazards and risks resulting from electromagnetic interference, as well as reviewing current safety standards and the implications for RF design. |
||||||||
Introduction to RF Propagation This book provides readers with a solid understanding of the concepts involved in the propagation of electromagnetic waves and of the commonly used modeling techniques. While many books cover RF propagation, most are geared to cellular telephone systems and, therefore, are limited in scope. This title is comprehensive-it treats the growing number of wireless applications that range well beyond the mobile telecommunications industry, including radar and satellite communications. |

Microwave and RF Engineering This book presents up-to-date research and applications at different levels of difficulty, creating a useful tool for a first approach to the subject as well as for subsequent in-depth study. It is therefore indispensable reading for advanced professionals and designers who operate at high frequencies as well as senior students who are first approaching the subject. |
Advanced RF Engineering for Wireless Systems and Networks. Provides a multidimensional primer for professionals involved in the design of next-generation wireless and satellite communications systems and networks. This essential work offers systematic, hands-on guidance to wireless system design, clearly demonstrating how to design second- and third-generation systems from the ground up. |

RF and Microwave Transistor Oscillator Design Applications working at higher frequencies and using novel technologies have led to a demand for more robust circuits with higher performance and functionality, but decreased costs, size and power consumption. As a result, there is also a need for more efficient oscillators.
This book presents up to date information on all aspects of oscillator design, enabling a selection of the best oscillator topologies with optimized noise reduction and electrical performance. |
Fundamentals of RF and Microwave Transistor Amplifiers This book provides state-of-the-art coverage of RF and microwave transistor amplifiers, including low-noise, narrowband, broadband, linear, high-power, high-efficiency, and high-voltage. Topics covered include modeling, analysis, design, packaging, and thermal and fabrication considerations.

Microwave Devices, Circuits and Subsystems for Communications Engineering Provides a detailed treatment of the common microwave elements found in modern microwave communications systems. The treatment is thorough without being unnecessarily mathematical. The emphasis is on acquiring a conceptual understanding of the techniques and technologies discussed and the practical design criteria required to apply these in real engineering situations.

RF Circuit Design It's Back! New chapters, examples, and insights; all infused with the timeless concepts and theories that have helped RF engineers for the past 25 years! RF circuit design is now more important than ever as we find ourselves in an increasingly wireless world. Radio is the backbone of today's wireless industry with protocols such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, WiMax, and ZigBee.

RF Front-End: World Class Designs All the design and development inspiration and direction a hardware engineer needs in one blockbuster book! Janine Love has selected the very best RF design material from the Newnes portfolio and has compiled it into this volume. The result is a book covering the gamut of RF front end design from antenna and filter design fundamentals to optimized layout techniques with a strong pragmatic emphasis. In addition to specific design techniques and practices, this book also discusses various approaches to solving RF front end design problems and how to successfully apply theory to actual design tasks. |

Handbook of RF and Wireless Technologies Expert contributors drawn from the ranks of academia and industry have authored chapters in such areas as third-generation wireless, wireless sensor networks, RF power amplifiers, spread spectrum modulation, signal propagation, antennas, and other key subjects that engineers working in RF and wireless need to be familiar with. This is far more than just a tutorial or reference guide?it is a "guided tour" through the world of cutting-edge RF and wireless design, combining theory, applications, and philosophies behind the RF/wireless design process. |
Analog Circuit Design Analog Circuit Design" is a four-volume set of books that reduce the concepts of analog electronics to their simplest, most obvious form which can easily be applied (even quantitatively) with minimal effort. The emphasis of the set is to teach through inspection how circuits work and how to apply the same techniques to circuits of the same class. |

RF and Microwave Modeling and Measurement Techniques for Field Effect Transistors This book is an introduction to microwave and RF signal modeling and measurement techniques for field effect transistors. It assumes only a basic course in electronic circuits and prerequisite knowledge for readers to apply the techniques and improve the performance of integrated circuits, reduce design cycles and increase their chance at first time success. |
Practical Issues in RF Design a 3 CD-Rom based Training Course The challenge in RF design is often that the simplest of circuits can be insanely difficult because secondary effects such as parasitics play a major role in circuit behavior. This state of affairs is often referred to as the "real world," "black magic" or "art" rather than science. But RF circuits do comply with the laws of nature. Understanding these secondary effects untangles the mystery. Viewing this CD series will help you become more proficient in the design of RF and microwave circuits. The payoff is less frustration, reduced time to designs that meet specs, and higher performance. |
