About the Training Course

The training course is intended to highlight the technical issues that arise when mobilizing data services for business applications, and several approaches to solving these or minimising their impact on performance. Several case studies will be used as the training course draws heavily from experience with several mobile network operators plus third party solution providers and their attempts to provide complex data services to their business customers.

Topics such as data formatting; limited bandwidth for LAN based applications and processes; end-to-end security; VPNs; Leased Lines; private and generic APNs; optimisation for high latency; provision of middleware and service specific client management are all presented, and the issues associated with each of these areas is discussed from the perspectives of Enterprise users, Network Operators and 3rd parties service / application providers.
