Course Content |
This class will identify the necessary elements of an effective reliability program plan. Numerous class examples will provide a depth of understanding that allows the student to develop the best custom plan for their own company. Some of the topics covered are:
- How to establish reliability numerical requirements based upon the needed field performance.
- How to quantify the severe user and the severe usage profile.
- Developing lab tests based upon the severe user.
- AFD as an alternative to DFMEA for effective test planning.
- Designing test flows to effectively manage test time.
- Understanding how the reliability process can be effectively divided into Analytical, Developmental (Qualitative), and Validation (Quantitative) tasks.
- Understanding the basics behind accelerated testing to reduce test time.
- Using Stress-Strength Interference to relate “reliability on test” to “reliability in the field”
- Preventing Quality Spills as a natural extension of the reliability process
