About the Training Course
The course provides a detailed end-to-end description and explanation of the global WCDMA, HSPA and LTE radio standards in 3GPP Releases 99, 5, 6, 7 and 8. With presentations from Harri Holma and Antti Toskala, authors of the current definitive works, "LTE for UMTS - OFDMA and SC-FDMA Based Radio Access", "HSDPA/HSUPA for UMTS" and "WCDMA for UMTS".
Real world implementation aspects of the new technology will also be discussed, including the dual-mode radio receiver in multimedia handsets, system dimensioning and design and application performance.
Emphasis throughout the course will be placed on optimizing the data capability of these networks, including efficient packet data capacity, broadband wireless services, radio resource management as well as upgrade paths for operators.
All delegates will receive a free copy of *"WCDMA for UMTS: HSPA Evolution and LTE, 4th Edition" by Harri Holma and Antti Toskala (Wiley)
* Please notify us on your registration form if you would prefer to receive a copy of "HSDPA / HSUPA for UMTS" or "LTE for UMTS - OFDMA and SC-FDMA Based Radio Access" by Harri Holma and Antti Toskala (Wiley) instead. |
